A woman at Mount Isa in north-western Queensland will face court tomorrow charged with murder.

Police were called to a house on Spence Street in the early hours of Monday morning when they found a 32-year-old Townsville man with serious chest injuries. He died at the scene a short time later. A 29-year-old Mount Isa woman is waiting to face the Townsville Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with his murder. Meanwhile in Mackay, a 21-year-old man has been charged with stabbing and assaulting a couple at their home. Police say the man entered the house and stabbed a 46-year-old woman in the arm after earlier assaulting a 49-year-old man out the front of the house.
